Most brides will focus on choosing their dress or the venue, but the single best and most important decision I made was to choose Ann as my wedding make up artist.I cannot express just how extraordinary her work was. Sososososo happy working with Ann & her team. Starting from the trial to the actual wedding makeup, I am tremendously satisfied with everything. Ann does an excellent job at not only understanding what I wanted but also seeing if it fits my face/dress/overall vibe. 

I am usually very picky about little details but I really didn't even need to explain to Ann, she just seemed to already know what I wanted to communicate. Ann also went above and beyond and helped my photographers get better lighting for photos, helped me with my dress, and was such a strong support system even beyond just makeup.I also heard from my husband (then fiance) that she prepped his face and helped touch up the groomsmen as well and that was not included/expected so I am soso appreciative. 

 I want to have another wedding just so I can get my makeup done by Ann again LOL. You can tell Ann is such a sweet & humble spirit but she has an impressive portfolio. My bridesmaids/mother/mother in law/grandma were so pleased with their makeup.

Honestly, she is by far my favorite vendor that we booked and she truly made the entire day so much more special! Ann is THE most talented makeup artist and I could not be any more happier with her! When I got engaged, I immediately started looked for make up artists that had experience with Asian brides and Ann's page came up. I reached out to her to her to do my makeup for my engagement photo shoot and OMG I am so glad I did because the makeup was stunning!! Ann’s talent makes everyone look like the best version of themselves. Now for the details, I booked Ann to do my makeup for my very last minute mirco wedding. From the moment I first reached out to Ann she responded quickly to all my questions and concerns while ensuring my bridal vision came to life. I did a makeup trial two weeks ahead of my wedding day and the final result was breathtaking. My dark undereye circles and blemishes were completely hidden without having thick layers of makeup. My soft glam makeup not only looked stunning in real life but photographed beautifully without looking hard or over-done. A week before my wedding day, my wedding was cancelled due to COVID-19 and NYC indoor dining restrictions. While I worked on a new venue to host my ceremony, Ann was calm, understanding, and flexible, which was a relief while I re-planned a wedding. The morning of my wedding ceremony, Ann and her hair stylist arrived at my hotel on-time. Along with my makeup, Ann did my mother-in-law and two bridesmaids’ makeup. All the ladies who are of different ages and have different skin concerns looked stunning and were all pleased with the result. I literally could not wait to write Ann this review. I first found Ann on Instagram and fell in love with her natural style. I searched a long time and am so glad I found her. I wanted to look like myself on my wedding date and so many other artist just could not do this well. Ann however is a natural. What really sets her apart from any other makeup artist is she truly cares and prioritized what worked well for my acne prone skin. I love that she really cares about your skin and ensuring that the products she uses will not make you break out or cause you to be oily/dry.   

 As soon as I connected with her we starting messaging about what I was looking for, my colors, and my style. She listened carefully and during my trial, I felt so comfortable with Ann.  Due to COVID, I had to reschedule my wedding and Ann was so accommodating and helpful. I appreciate her professionalism and her true care for her clients. On my wedding day, I felt like I had a friend there. She made me feel so relaxed and went above and beyond for me, my sister and my mom. She nailed every look and everyone loved my makeup. Even though I have very oily skin, my skin stayed perfect ALL night even during a 97 degree outdoor wedding HEAT WAVE. 

Also, literally minutes before I left for the church my mom and I got very emotional and started crying and I accidentally wiped some of my concealer off. I was so worried but Ann literally jumped on it, fixed everything in 2 secs and even gave me her concealer and brush in case I needed it later. You will NOT find anyone like her that truly cares this much. If this doesn't show you how amazing she is, I don't know what will. 

Ann is the best out there and you do NOT want to go with a "cheaper" option. My makeup really elevated my entire look that day and is the number one thing I would spend money on.  She is worth every penny and more.

I cannot say enough about how incredible Ann and her team were. Leading up to our wedding, I had a very difficult time finding a hair and makeup artist that I really loved. Ann (makeup artist) and Jessica (hairstylist) blew me away in my first trial and I was so relieved to have found them. They were fantastic to work with, with quick responses to every text and email. I was indecisive on my hair and during my second trial Jessica was so patient and took the time to try out several different hairstyles with me. I was blown away by their work on our wedding day. Each one of my 6 bridesmaids loved their hair, one even cheered and high-fived Jessica after seeing her finished look. Originally, only 3 of my bridesmaids wanted to get their makeup done, but after they saw how incredible the first girl's makeup was, every one of my bridesmaids asked Ann to do her makeup as well. Hiring Ann as my makeup artist was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! I browsed her social media page and liked her work so I booked her for a trial. She was so responsive, kind, and easy to work with. During my trial we started off with a more natural look and worked our way up to glam so that I could see and decide which look I liked. I loved the airbrush foundation that she did and she did great shading on my eyes. I then booked her for my wedding day and WOW! Clearly I liked her work during the trial, but on the wedding day it was somehow even better. I’ve never felt so beautiful in my life. I found Ann after a series of horrible make-up trials - I was in my last year of law school studying for finals, getting ready for a move, raising a new puppy, and also planning a wedding for 150 of our closest friends and family in another city. I was almost about to give up when I came across All Brides, and more specifically, Ann. For me to be able to really explain just how amazing she is, requires that I provide some context as to what she was up against: Ann and her team got all of my 8 bridesmaids, both my mother and mother-in-law, a flower girl, as well as myself ready for my wedding in 4.5 hours. Each and every single girl/woman was given full attention - their complexion, idiosyncratic needs and desires, ethnic diversity, and most importantly, creative desires were given FULL consideration. The bridesmaids ranged from backgrounds from all over the world, including: German, Jewish, Middle Eastern, South Asian, and Anglo-American. How is it possible for someone to be able to make every single girl feel like it was just wasn't just about the bride on this special day, but about every single one of them? Well, leave it up to Ann because she is honestly a magician! 

For me, as the bride, the most important thing was that this day was shared with my bridesmaids, my mother and mother-in-law - Ann was the driving force behind why my wedding day was as special as it was! Her talent is unparalleled, her patience and kindness is simply unbelievable, and lastly, her ability to make you feel and look like a princess on your special day is unlike anything I have ever experienced before. 2 words: HIRE ANN! 
I used Ann for my engagement photo shoot back in May since I had a sunrise shoot in Brooklyn. It's fairly difficult to find a good makeup artist that can make you look that beautiful so early. I ended up booking her for my wedding (this past December) after a long search. The only reason I was hesitant to book Ann again was due to her pricing. However, let me tell you it is 100% worth it. She is the sweetest person that'll make sure you feel and look like an absolute queen!! My bridesmaids and mother's absolutely loved her work and would probably hire her again if they ever needed a MUA. Don't be afraid to tell her exactly what you want too- she's super easy to talk to, understanding, and willing to do whatever to make sure you are happy! Thank you Ann for making me feel the prettiest I've ever felt on my special day.

Ann is an absolute LIFE saver ! I had a sunrise shoot on a Friday morning and had the hardest time finding a great makeup artist to come to our hotel at 4 in the morning. While I was looking for makeup artists, it was also important to find an artist that is familiar with asian faces. 

Ann had a great portfolio, and was actually recommended by my photographer (Monika Eisenbart). I felt comfortable enough to trust she'll do exactly what I want, and wasn't afraid to also suggest some changes. Ann was easy to talk to and work with. Thank you so much Ann!!!! When looking for a makeup artist for my wedding day, I wanted someone that could work with Asian features and that would be able to achieve the glamorous and natural bridal look I wanted. After going through a few makeup trials, I was getting frantic that I wouldn’t be able to find the right person, until I found Ann. She listened and understood what I wanted and I felt like we were on the same page. Her pricing is fair, if a little more than I was hoping to spend. However, it was important to me to look my best on my wedding day, so it was definitely worth it for me. We set up a makeup trial months before the wedding and it went perfectly. I was so relieved that I finally found the right makeup artist for me and decided to use her for my engagement photos as well. 

She arrived super early the day of our engagement shoot, and did an amazing job, even covering up my puffy allergy eyes. The photos turned out beautiful and largely thanks to her! 

On the day of the wedding, she showed up with her hair stylist, Vanessa, right on time. They worked calmly and stayed on schedule the whole day. Having been in friends’ weddings, this isn’t always the case, and falling behind schedule can cause unnecessary stress—the last thing you want on your wedding day. My bridesmaids, mother, and future mother-in-law all loved their looks. As for me, I couldn’t have been more happy with how everything turned out. My makeup and hair looked flawless and also lasted the entire day and night, all the way through until after the after-party. Ann did my bridesmaid make up at a friend's wedding, and then my bridal make up at my own wedding. Both times she was so, so easy to work with - really nice, accommodating and so, so, talented. I absolutely loved both looks! I can't recommend Ann enough!!

Ann was fantastic- she is a true professional and listened to exactly what I said I did and didn't like.  I've had some bad makeup experiences before with artists who wanted to put excessive amounts of eyeshadow and bronzer on me despite my asking to look 'natural'.  Ann actually listened to everything I was saying and made me look beautiful but also I looked like myself.  She also put on some amazing eyelashes that lasted me an extra 3 days.  Would highly recommend her for your wedding or any other event!

I worked with Ann for my elopement in 2017, and was so excited to work with her for big family celebration this spring! She is amazing! She worked seamlessly on my family with a variety of skin tones and make-up preferences! She is so sweet and easy to work with. The make-up looks flawless in all the photos, and I am so happy to have had the chance to work with her again! I can't say enough good things!

I was so lucky to discover Ann and All Brides for a NYC elopement. She is sweet, responsive, punctual, and... most importantly...extremely talented. The thing I appreciated the most was how much I felt she truly listened to me and worked with me to achieve my dream. As someone who doesn't wear make up normally, it was crucial to feel like myself. I felt stunning at my wedding!
